Need to replace the exhaust on the GT. I'm thinking of ordering Flowmasters LX pipes (cobra bumper) and using dynomax bullets. Unfortunately my budget is limited, so suggestions are needed.
Bolt-on exhausts are the way to go. Having a shop weld up a system might seem likea good idea, up until you have to drop the exhaust someday for some other project and the only way to do it then is to hack it apart and re-weld it. Besides, most exhaust jobs can be done with a 9/16" and 5/8" socket and a crescent wrench.
You can pick up a Pypes Violator cat-back with stainless LX-style tailpipes for pretty cheap, and it sounds killer. I've been getting kudos all the time now since I swapped mine in to replace the Dynomax Super Turbo cat-back I had on before.
