Why is your car slower when you take off the hipe and just run headers?? I have shorty heads and i wanted to hear what it sounded like and i took it on the road and this Dodge ram beat me???

long tube headers make better back pressure your trying to run like 9 inches of pipe from each port and think thats enuff. lol
