Exhaust ????

My SLP's have no drone, at extremly low RPM's (1,000-1500) if you push the gas it gives a very mellow type noise; that's the closest thing to droning you'll have with SLP's

are you running the Loudmouth's or Stinger type SLP's? also, are you running the factory catted h pipe? were there any problems with the alignment of the tips on the SLP's?

here's another vote for bassani. they sound awesome -- deep and throaty, not raspy at all. i have an '06 gt vert, and they have some drone between 1500-2000 rpm (55-65 mph) but it fades very quickly, and is hardly noticeable beyond 75 mph. the drone would get old if i cruised at 55-60 mph all day, but 75% of my daily commute is on a 4-lane freeway where everyone drives 70-80 mph. i personally love the sound of my exhaust as i approach freeway speeds, and then it fades away in the distance. i'm of the opinion that, if you're not able to hear it and appreciate it, why spend the money?

i personally love the sound of my bassanis, and i get inquiries & complements about them all the time. ideally, you should find someone with the setup you're considering and listen to it in person. the audio files you find on the net only give you a vague idea of what it might sound like on your car. and definitely spend the extra money for stainless steel (not aluminized)

good luck on your quest :nice:

You should consider the Supreme GT Axle-Back, it has zero drone and is slightly louder than stock and much cheaper than Corsa. Supreme is the Manufacturer of the FRPP M-5230-GTA and the tips look spectacular! Pair it up with the FRPP X-pipe and you have the 2007 Shelby GT exhaust.
