Currently I am running stock headers and midpipe. I bought a SLP LMII catback and installed it. It wasnt loud enough so i put straight pipes where the mufflers go. I have heard that I am loosing power. So I was thinking of putting my mufflers back on. Then another friend said to gutt the stock midpipe. What would be best?

1. Put mufflers back on and leave midpipe alone.
2. Put mufflers back on and gutt midpipe.
3. Gut midpipe and leave mufflers off.
4. Leave it the way it is.

I just recently installed an offroad prochamber midpipe and catback and I didn't feel any lowend power loss. However, it does pull a little harder above 3000rpm's. Whatever you lose in the lowend, you will more than makeup on the high end!

Its not like your losing alot of tq when you lose back pressure. I would have the mufflers put back on and then get an O/R H or X pipe. This will give you a better sound if anything. I dont know about yours but there are a few guys in town with no mufflers and no cats and the cars sound like sh** to me.
