im looking to get exhaust and I was wanting to know if 1 or 2 chamber would be the best option for the street. B/c where I live, my County has a noise ordinance thats always in full efect. Unless you ride a harley... They never get pulled, but it always seems mustangs do...

1 chambers sound like crap IMO (except at idle), I would go with 2 chambers.

Definately 2 chambers, i had 1 chambers on my coupe and didnt care for it, it sounded alright at idle but at wot it was too much, I ended up goin with 2 chambers and the sound is much better!

If you're worried about noise ordinances, I'd honestly avoid the 1-chambers or the 40 series and just go with some 50 series muffs, if you feel that you have to stick with Flowmasters. Otherwise, I'd opt for a straight-through style muffler like Magnaflow, Hooker Maximum Flow, or Dynomax Ultra Flow, as they are quite tame at idle and cruise but they roar/bark at WOT, so you won't be as likely to attract attention unless you WANT to do so.

As of right now I have a set of BBK shorties with a o/r x pipe. I just need something thats not going to draw alot of attention at a redlight. if it WOT then that would be my fault... What chamber are 40series?

40series are two chamber, 1 will be too loud you will definitely get pulled over if they are on the prowl. I would think with two you may even get pulled over, I would stick with the two chamber though like said before, IF you are stuck on getting flowmasters.
