Hello All this is my first post here!!!

I found an exhuast system I wanted to buy, but it fits the 99-04 stangs. Well the guy said you have to have an independent rear. Do you guys think that I can put that exhaust on my stang? Here is a pic

It would probably help if you told us what year Mustang you are going to install this exhaust system on. But that exhaust should be able to be fitted to your Mustang with modification. You will more than likely have to have some custom fit pipes made from the Muffers back to the tips.

no you would be better off buying a 04-04 GT cat back take off (NON cobra) for 125 bucks (going rate) and having it put on.... just sell what you got its worthless for what you need it for.

Save the $125 and ask around to find someone who possibly has thier old catback GT exhaust they just upgraded from. That's what I did...I scanned message boards, checked with some local exhaust shops and found a set for pretty much nothing. I actually ended up getting two GT Takeoff systems for less than $50 and sold one to pay for the install of the other.

But if you are looking for some rumble...stay away from GT Takeoffs, they are to quiet in my opinion.
