Could somebody explain to me the differences of opal and titanium interior colors? And maybe show some really good pics. Obviously charcoal is a dark color...but I really don't know what color my interior is.

its funny you are posting this cause i just bought a "opal" so i was told panel which was definitely not opal.it was lighter and not even close.i beleive it was titanium cause opal has like a blueish tint to it and is darker than titanium.i had pictures comparing the both cause i sent them to the clown who sold them to me. ill try to get some more comparing them this weekend if you want. phil

What year is your car and does it have the original interior? Opal grey came in 87-89 Mustangs. Then it was switched to titanium grey for 90 and 91. Then, they switched back to opal grey for 92 and 93. The seats were different in 87-89 than they were in 92-93 though.

I thought Charcoal was 87-89. No, my car does not have the original interior. I am starting to assume that it is titanium because the color is very light and I don't think it has a bluish tint to it. It's just kinda confusing cause my motor is from a 93 GT and I know they got some other parts from the 93 and so I thought they might have gotten the interior too, but I do know some of it is dyed from original red too....leaning towards titanium.

True. I stand corrected. I forgot that 92 also had the titanium interior. I liked your response in the thread about the person that wants their car to stand out. Thanks for backing me up! I finally got around to making a response.

Def1leppard, I don't think the 87-89 interior was called opal grey. I would have to look it up. Actually, I think it may have just been called grey. However, it is essentially the same color. The grey interior in my 91 is lighter than the grey interior in my 89. Sorry for the confusion.
