Hey guys just browsing craigs list and I came upon something that may be helpful to the fox body guys in the New Jersey area. Its a 1996 Ford explorer complete vehicle with a v8, can you say gt 40 heads! Anyway they only want 500 for the whole truck cause its not running at the moment so I thought I would pass on the good deal to someone that can use it seeing as how I sold my fox like an idiot....... But anyway here is the link if anyone is interested.

you can get the motor from a JY with less miles for less money. And dont have to deal with junking the rest of it.

Decent deal though, i guess

Really? It seemed like they were getting harder and harder to find.

with that many miles the only thing I would use off that motor is the heads and intake and for that price it just isnt worth it. you wont get 500 from a recycler for that thing.

Our junkyard charges $500 for used Explorer motors, I'd just take the whole thing.

We picked up a 71K mile Explorer for $1000. Truck was wrecked but the driveline is mint, interior is mint, and the rest of the truck is in good shape. Plans to use the motor and part the rest have begun!
