Export tail lights?

A friend of mine is moving to Spain, and would like to take his 2003 GT. Does anyone know where to buy export tail lights, in order to make it legal? The so-called 'Euro' tail lights from companies like APC won't cut it.

I remember someone looking for the tail-lights that they use in Japan, and there was an extra amber strip or something. I don't know if Spain has the same laws. I looked before, but I couldn't find anyplace that sold them. I'd ask mint93GT, he lives in Japan and he might be more help.

The other guy was looking for some for 94-98, so they might be different for the 99+.

I've seen the set (both left and right) advertised online for $300. The two lower outer tail light positions become amber turn signals.

That's correct. As it turns out, the Cobra lamps with the amber turn signals are the same as export lamps. I found them at www.karkraft.com. Click on '99-04 Mustang', scroll down to the Cobra tail lamp conversion. Thanks much for the link to the installation guide. That will come in handy.
