eye floaters

Ah, like little dark spots? I'd take the advice of the article you linked and see a doc if it's a new thing. There's probably a multitude of things it could be caused by, one of which being a partial retinal detachment. Could also be something like a scratch, or something on your eye, but it's definitely worth having checked out.

I had one about a year ago. it was a spot about 60 degrees right of straight ahead and slightly up. I kept thinking I was seeing a fly or something darting around as I moved my eyes until i realized it was in my eye. Drove me nuts for a while, but after about a month, it just went away. I wouldn't worry about it.

they float around in your feild of vision:bang:

i thought there was a small flea buzzing around and landing on things

Yup. I have one. In my left eye. In the upper left part of my field of vision. It comes and goes. (It actually looks like an airplane, way off in the distance, doing tricks in the sky.) It is VERY annoying. However, I only notice it, when I'm looking at a clear blue sky or a very light colored, consistant surface. I have had it (come and go) for several years. It was never enough to make me see a doc about it. (Or even mention it, while at the docs.) It's good to know that most are "harlmess and merely annoying". Mine have never been accompanied by flashes of light. Are not related to stress or any other things I've paid attention, to.

It's good to finally have a clue what it is. Thanks! :nice: :nice:
