f cam

u need anything else for a f cam to be installed for a 91 mustang. i saw a video and it said to install new lifters or something. i thought u could just put one in and be done. what else would i need

Anything else besides what? What do you have so far?

Sure you could probably just shove it in and maybe never have an issue. I would at bare minimum upgrade my springs and even still I'd probably replace the lifters too.

i already have a b or an e cam not sure which one. so i thought of getting a f cam. just wanted to know if there was anything else i needed to put an f cam in

Timing cover gasket set, valve cover gasket set, lower intake to block gasket set, camshaft prelube

You should be able to reuse the stock lifters. I used white lithium grease instead of assembly lube when I installed my cam. I think Troy has you covered otherwise.

Might want to consider this tool. Saves on time and gaskets.
