i got my valve covers today as i was getting close to getting my car all back together ....so i decided to put them on....well anyway....i had to literally put a hole into the old valve cover(the one under the throttle body) to get it off ....so i was like its ok since i just got the new valve covers....i bought the ones that fit the 87-93(i was told they would fit our year with a spacer) .....they don't fit with the intake ....so i had to jb weld the hole in the intake hoping it will hold untill i can get another one ....well after work tomorrow i'm try to finish putting it together....

What made them not fit? Too tall or what?

Maybe you got the wrong size spacer?

Im not really sure what valve covers fit though, Im just throwing things out.

I coulda told you they don't work... sucks. You CAN however take your sawzall and cut the filler tube at an angle, then re-mount the filler tube on kinda angled off to the side and JB weld it back together... Ghetto, but I've done it before and it lasted 40K miles no prob.
