Does anyone know where to find either a lexan or glass rear window for my mustang that has louvers like the rear glass on an Ferrari F40? If not, are there places that can put louvers in a lexan rear window?

No. Your engine is in the front.

Those louvers are only there cause the engine is back there. All it will do to your car is make it noisy inside. You would have to have one custom made, you can't bend louvers into a lexan window, they have to be premolded into it.

thats what I thought. I know a couple people that put louvers in metal, and I have dies to do it at my work. Maybe if I buy a window and have it heated up then try and puch them.

And Im not an idiot, I know why the F40 has them in the back.

If it has vents in the back for the engine, what do you intend to vent? The amps?

I've been on here for 7 years. I've seen a lot. This is the first time this has been asked. No one makes a vented lexan rear window, and I've only seen a stock-fitting lexan rear window ONCE. It's usually a race-only application that's affixed with dzus fasteners. It's rather unsafe on the street.

if your doing it for functional vents why not have the rear 1/4 glass replaced with a lexan piece with vents built in them, seems a lot easier/safer/cheaper

In that case, Agent 47 makes plastic/fiberglass quarter windows with ducts for $150.
