Fabric dye?

im trying to dye my headliner black from blue... what should i use?

sem products makes a good interior color. get it at a good auto paint distributor like colours inc.

I actually bought some spray dye from walmart a few years ago and it worked pretty well I think

i just dyed my blue interior to black.....i used duplicolor vinyel and fabric paint....works GREAT! no stiff, crunchy feel afterwards either!

Why not redo it? With mine I went to Joann Fabric and got this black felt type material (exactly the same as the headliner stuff only thicker). I cut the old stuff off the board and glued the new stuff on... It looks great and I was able to get rid of the map light without having a hole.

the stuff from walmart... what section was it in? and what was it called? How much did you use on the seats? i have some gift cards for there anyway and it beats buying new seats. i think i will just re-do the headliner with black cloth. where can i buy spray glue?

It was in the automotive section...let me see if I still have a pic of it.... it was only 3 or 4 bucks, I think I used two or 3 cans to do the front and back, possibly 4???

make sure the headliner glue is actually made for that. you need high temp or else it will fail the first hot day.

o. and you can buy it at pepboys. there is actually a whole headliner kit you can buy. glue is like $5-8 a can, and a whole headliner kit is like $40. avail. in multiple colors. i went this route with my lincoln and its been fine since last summer so far. and it was a hot summer.
