I had a unreliable friend tell me that the 88GT's have a forged pistons and crank stock, is that true?

I know the pistons are forged...not so sure about the crank tho. All 5.0 had forged pistons up to 1993.

All 5.0's had forged pistons until late 1992, where they switched to hyper's.

Forged pistons yes (from '85 up until ’92, as stated) but their cranks are still nodular iron, just like any other 302.
