does anyone know where i can get the police service fan clutch? is there a difference between the police one just a heavy duty one from autozone? also, i forgot where i saw it but im looking for a complete rear assembly axles, the whole deal, just bolt it in no rebuilds. anyone know who sells them?

50resto probably has the complete rear end. summit sells them also im pretty sure. or try holcomb motorsports. as far as the fan clutch goes...the police service fan clutch was just a heavy duty one anyways

I recall reading about the police clutch being different, but I couldn't say it would be worth it for the kind of money they'll probably charge for it. What I can say is that you should get a real Ford brand replacement. All the aftermarket ones I have seen are too tight, costing HP. The genuine Fords seem to work true to form, freewheeling when they should, and locking up tight when hot.
