Hey guys-

I bought a new radiator to replace my leaky one and decided to put a fan shroud on it as well. Everything was bought from the same mustang parts dealer and is supposedly a stock replacement for a '66 V8. I got all the necessary brackets (4 of them) and 4 long screws as well. Can anyone tell me how to mount this properly to the radiator? I'm not sure how the shroud is supposed to attach to it. I thought I read on one site that the screws are self tapping and just screw into the radiator, but I am afraid of damaging my new one. If anyone could help me out or show me some pictures of an assembled shroud/radiator, I would really appreciate it. Thanks alot.

I just bought a shroud kit and there were no self tapping screws. The bracket goes from the shroud to where the radiator bolts into the car. The bolts into the car are fine threaded, and fit into clips that you put on the sheet metal of the car. Hope this helps,
Tom
