Fan won't turn off!

Well I finally got my fan to work with the help of http://www.allfordmustangs.com/Detailed/499.shtml on how to install a switch. The switch only let me turn it on/off if the car is off but now it seems like the fan stays on when the car is on. The switch is no use unless the car is off.

did you messed up the install?

if you did it correctly, the fan will not come one at all with the car in the off position

if the fan is not grounded.... i.e. the connector to the fan motor melted like mine did, it will stay on all the time until your battery is dead

I would disconnect the wire from the switch or ground and if it turns off you have a bad switch
