Does anyone recognize this fan? I’m switching over to electric and I can get this on for very reasonable price after I test it. It is somewhat “modified “ on the housing however I’m not concerned about that having several years of aircraft repair behind me

Does it cover the radiator completely?

Negative, I have aluminum sheets to fill in the spaces that it won’t cover. Radiator is 24” wide and 19” tall. This is a 16” fan and housing is 21” wide and 16” tall. I was thinking about using the current shroud and adapting the fan to attach after it away from its current housing

No that’s why I’m posting picture to see if anyone recognizes it. It’s a ford product however p/n on housing was cut away. Resistor on top has SN95 on housing. I can get a brand new 2000 GT fan off of a guy for $40 however I still will need to cut out a shroud

That doesn’t look anything like my 94-95 fan.

I searched some fans on Rockauto for various models and haven’t seen anything that looks the same

Just do the contour fan upgrade, easy peasy and lots of info on how to do it.

Contour fan > all others.


The mere fact that it covers nearly 100% of the radiators cooling area gives it a huge advantage over other fans that might only cover a small portion.

I wouldn't use that junk piece when a contour fan is $80 on eBay.

I have that same fan in my F250. Its a 2 speed fan from a 95 Taurus and I did away with the soft start cap and just put each hot wire on seperate diode protected relays ......
