Pegged it at 150, 3 in the morning, highway was totally empty.

To keep your vert safe, good suspension, 6 point roll cage, haha.

My speedo reads almost 130(125-127ish) at the end of the 1/4....

I hit 140 once when the car was stock. I doubt it well ever see that speed again.

I got to 127 before shuting it down one time it was still accelerating but I didn't trust my tires enough to go any faster.

The needle was past 150... I was on a 3 mile stretch of road, 2 lanes, no traffic, broad daylight, 80 degrees... Top down

I went until I ran out of RPMs...

...Then I went home and changed my underwear.

Hit ~145 on the speedo.

Stayed between 125 and 145 for a good 2-3 minutes.

Burned about 1/4 tank of gas. lol

That was with my 2.73's though. I doubt Ill hit that with 3.73s.

130ish with the 3.73s in 5th and it was still pulling but I was quickly running out of road.

110-120 is almost common place though...

haha its funny to see the words "160mph" and "safe" in the same sentence. I wouldn't encourage anyone to try that on public roads. I've gone 120 in mine, and it still has more in it, but the 3.73's were howling so I let-off before anything blew-up. I want to get 3.27's put in and a viper-spec T56 (0.5:1 6th gear ) when I get the turbo'ed 418 next year (shooting for 600-700hp). But even with that, I wouldn't trust our car's stability above 150mph. at the very least get a 6-point rollcage.

How fast have you taken yours?

To me each vehicle I own is good to a different MPH... my ford 500, 80 TOPS, my truck 70-75 mph... My Mustang is 120ish as I have the Z rated tires, cobra brakes, etc...

But I hrar ya, there are few times and places to go that fast...

You should try troubleshooting your transmission that pops out of gear in the upper rpms in 3rd gear only. The one time it held at 75% throttle it ran 125ish in the top of third at 6,200 or so rpm. Man this new stroker has some power.

On a closed course of course.

In my '94 I've gone maybe a 100 or so. I won't be going any faster in it until I do a good amount of suspension mods. Now my old '04 I went 150ish a couple times.
It was fun, but I've toned down and doubt I'll be doing that again on public roads in any car.

as far as i am concerned noone has done that speed unless it was gps verified--speedos are way to inaccurate.

Absolutely Not true idk with gears and changed speedo gear , but my stock 3.08 GPS verified has a top of 1-2 mph difference on all speeds from 0-120 mph verified , idk anything beyond that i dont have high speed rated tires to do more, but this cars have the most acurate speedo i have ever seen on a car.
