Damn... 373 people reading the thread AT THIS MOMENT. 45,900 some views. Looks to me like that guy is really getting the word out. Good, I wish him luck.
I think being as prestegious a forum as this that we could pitch in and tell all forums we know about this I think we owe it to ourselves and this guy to help out.
yeah, i read that crap too and even called AMP and told them that i thought they were doing bad business, of course he hung up on me. i used to own my own business (detail shop) as well and that is just horrible to treat someone like that, there is absolutely no excuse for that. in the time i had my shop i had one compaint and we made it right. these guys have apparently screwed over more than one person and they don't deserve the right to own a business.
Damn I had to stop at page 20. I couldn't take much more of it because I was getting too frustrated. That is a really unfortunate situation. I hope everything works out for him though.

I would be interested to hear about other peoples' experiences with that company. It is either a really bad situation or has been blow out of proportion.
The part that gets me is that a used parts house was installing a crate engine. That just doesn't sound right. Maybe they put a rebuilt or salvage yard engine in the car? Then again, what happened to the original engine? If a fuel or timing issue killed the original engine, that could be the cause of the second failure.
I just did a search for their website and then sent them an e-mail hoping that they lose all of their business for screwing that guy. We should all do this. We could easily generate how many thousand from this forum?
