I am a little curious as to how I would remove both front fenders from my car, and if it is hard to align them again to put them back on.

I would like to pull them off as I am pulling my engine to do some wire hiding and I am going to tap into my washer tank and use it as a storage for my Snow methanol kit.

Thank you for any help.

There are 3 bolts on the top of the fender in the engine compartment. 1 bolt that you have to get to from where the door opens. There are several bolts that are connected to the front bumper cover. I don't remember how many on a GT compared to an LX. The bumper cover bolts can be a pain to remove when rust has taken a toll on them. Fairly simple to remove the fender and to reinstall. Aligning isn't too bad unless you've got some damage.

So I have been working on it for about a half an hour but I have hit a snag.

I can pull the top part and it moves but there are screws that I cannot get to on the front of the fender.

Do I have to take my front bumper off before I take my fenders off?

Also, upon inspection the small side skirt was sliced and smashed so I had to toss it. Does anyone know where I can get JUST that piece of have one for sale?

Thanks.

50 resto or Mustang Unlimited will be your best bet to get that part.
