Fox Fender to door alignment?

This seems to be a common thing. Even my 03 cobra has this problem on the passenger side.

My 93 hatch drivers side fender sits out probably less than 1/8" from the door. I'd like it to be flush.

How do I fix this? I can get a picture of it later tonight.

It is usually because someone at some point jacked the car up on the pinch weld where the bottom of the fender bolts on and bent it. Straighten the pinch weld back out and the fender will pull back into alignment with the door.

That's what I've heard. I'll double check, but it looked straight to me.

It could be like that from the factory to keep down the wind noise

Bend the fender brackets so the suck it in just a smidgen or add a shim under your door hinges.

I usually just take some big channel locks and bend the pinch welds back straight and that straightens the fender out
So common you would not believe Someone told my buddy with the heavy Cadillac it was normal and for airflow
Good answer if you do not want to mess with it

Need more pics to form an opinion here but it looks like the top of the fender needs pushing in at the windshield post just a smidge, hard to tell.

I'll have to get better pictures tonight. Basically same angle as first picture.

Not better pics, different angles like straight on, down from the top showing the gap at the windshield post.

Bad jack placement over the years causes that problem.
