as most of you know i was in a car accident 2 weeks ago. so i got looking for a new (to me) car. well here she is, car is almost flawless aside from the bug marks on the front bumper.
-VT Built 302 stroker short block (10.5:1 compression)
-Diamond Pistons
-Manley forged rods and crank
-Bassani off road X-pipe
-Mac Mufflers
-H&R lowering springs
-MGW Short throw shifter
-4.10 gears
car has no cats, i am changing this soon as i dislike the smell and i dont like the noise it makes without them i did not like the mufflers so a friend of mine lent me the rear section of a stock cobra exhaust. i will probaly get some flowmaster super 44's

also i went to the track today and ran my car, which i have never ever done before....so i was pretty nervous. but with some nasty wheel hop in first and then again on the 1-2 shift, and with 18's running 285/35/18 Sumitomo HTR Z II tires, i ran a 13.454 @104. i never thought i would do so good i expected somewhere in the 14's. so i was only able to make 1 run cause the track required a helmet for anything faster than a 13.9. i know there is a lot left to get out of her and now i really want to go back, i just need to get a helmet now.
i lost my slip but my friend was in the lane next to me and has his slip which he will copy and send to me.

and although i love this car i feel the same way about it as LaserSVT does about his, i havent made the same "bond" with this car as i did with the GT although i want to get a few things on this sorted out like the exhaust and the brakes (i did the brakes and the front pads chatter like crazy, i dislike this floating caliper design) and get it dyno'd and tuned. then im sure that it will feel better to me.
