I read the install instructions that is posted on this site. I read that you should silcone the small gaskets on both sides. Do you cover the little gaskets? Or just silcone where the gasket does not touch? Also which silcone should I use? Black Sticky or blue or the yellow stuff? Also anybody know about the IAT sensor tapping? Thanks for the help.

i used the blue stuff in the corners where the rubber meets the gaskets. i asume u have a explorer lower u want to tap for the iat.there should be a boss on the #5 runner for it.also if u are using the egr system u should drill and tap for that too theres a spot on the gt40 lower just like the stocker where it goes. both ar 3/8 npt. good luck

yes, everything should be there. just need to swap it all over from ur stocker

are talking about silicone on the upper to lower gasket ? i have heard that b4 and i WOULD NOT.

if you ever have to clean it or replace, it would be a PITA to keep silicone chunks from getting in the lower.

if your talking about lower intake to the heads, yes.... use RTV under AND over the corks and really thick at the corners. they are a hot spot for leaks. you can use gasket tack or a light film of rtv to hold the 1250 gasket in place, but it's not needed. will make it easier though

i use rtv around the water jackets on the heads and heavy where the end gaskets meet the lower.

there is a torque sequence online too you should have. it is meticulous to keep going over it. usually it takes like 5+ cycles before it sucks down.
