A buddy of mine just bought a fancy schmancy FG hood for his WS6. It cost him over $1,200.00! But it fit like a gem.

I think the average price for a FG stang hood is in the $300-400 range, maybe we are just too cheap for a manufacturer to put the extra effort into.

Are you sure it'd wasn't a carbon fiber or kevlar hood for that price?

Heh, thats what I asked!

I saw it before and after he put it on, it was indeed fiberglass. I'm sure part of the cost was the variouos openings/vents/scoops for his ram-air setup. I believe it was called "raptor" or something like that, you know to tie in the screaming chicken trans-am theme ad all

My '65 Shelby style hood came from Branda and no work was needed except for paint. Shelby used a stock rear trunk and did not use a rear spoiler.

I'm pretty sure he's asking about '67 parts, which did use a different deck lid with a spoiler.

Nice car, I'm in the middle of a 67 project and I was wondering which brand your hood is Maier or F.S.I, if is it from mustang plus. Do you have any other pictures, side shots or the rear.
