c clips hold you axles in place. they go over the end of the axle shafts and then the cross shaft in the differential keeps the axles from backing out so to speak.
C-clip eliminators are more of a rule requirement once you get to 10.99 or run a spool they are required at the track most likely. they are a safty hub that is pressed onto the axel that will retain it even if there is breakage. If launching hard on slicks alot it is a good idea. If it is mainly a street car I would skip it unless you are going to run faster than 10.99. that is me though.
there are modification to run them. I don't if there are issues with the abs tone rings or not. I would assume you would have to disable the system but I did not run them as I don't have a spool and don't think 10.99 is in this cars future so I did not completely reseach that side of it.
