Finally, 2005 stang for me : )

well.. I'm a streetbike kid (2004 gixxer) and I'm finally getting a vehicle (my last vehicle, a 2003 Audi 3.0 was destroyed by a driver as it was parked on the curb in front of my house. So i've been riding the bike as my daily commuter and so forth, but now with the rain I'm just having to look at vehicles. So, my cousin has an 04 GT.. and it's a fun, awesome poweful car and now that the suspension is suppposedly completely different on these 05s i think this is the car for me.

The awesome part of it is, is that my uncle is the Sales Manager of a very well known dealership down here so I'm able to get a very good price on just about any ford, and if i wait for these 05 GTs to die down, i can pretty much get her at invoice. So soon, I'll be part of this lovely family here

Anyone have any recomendations on some of the first thing to do to these bad boys? I'm thinking springs from steeda to lower it 1.5" to get rid of that "wheel well" and tinting for sure.

I'm looking at a min. grey GT, with the interior package and a 5 speed (my audi was a 6 speed, i'll miss that 6th gear).

here's a couple pictures of my stuff:

the 04 gixxer and my old "ruined" audi

welcome to the club your making a wise chose on the 05. Does your uncle work at a ford dealership; if so why not see if he cant get you Dplan or even Xplan then you can get it at under invoice and not have to wait.

San Diego?
If he's REALLY going to take care of you, anything more than $1000 over invoice would be too much. (that's around $1000 below sticker/MSRP)
Oh, not a lot of parts available yet because the 05 is almost an entirely different car compared to the 04.
