Red is any of a number of similar colors evoked by light consisting predominantly of the longest wavelengths of light discernible by the human eye, in the wavelength range of roughly 625–740 nm. Longer wavelengths than this are called infrared, or below red and cannot be seen by human eyes. Red is used as one of the additive primary colors of light, complementary to cyan, in RGB color systems. Red is also one of the subtractive primary colors of RYB color space but not CMYK color space.

e word red comes from the Old English rēad. Further back, the word can be traced to the Proto-Germanic rauthaz and the Proto-Indo European root reudh-. This is the only color word which has been traced to an Indo-European root.[6] In the English language, the word red is associated with blood, certain flowers (i.e. roses), and ripe fruits (i.e. apples, cherries). Fire is also strongly connected, as is the sun and the sky at sunset. Healthy people are often said to have a redness (as opposed to appearing pale). After the rise of socialism in the mid-19th century, red was to describe revolutionary movements. The word is also obviously associated with anything of the color occupying the lower end of the visible light spectrum, such as red hair or red soil. Red Indians is a British term for Native Americans, American terms for this ethnic group include redskin and red man, though they are not the preferred terms.

Cool! Eventhough the 96-98 GT's are weak in the power numbers, they still are one of my favorite late model mustangs. Cons are really just weak in stock performance, Pros are that they are usually easy to find at a good price and have great potential to modify or do an engine swap. Get some 17's on her and a drop and it will look much better.

The color of your car is called Lazer Red.

II crazy theanks for the explanation but i guess my general question is what ford calls it,i do have a set of 98 cobra wheels for the car i just need to buy tires but first i want to buy exuast,as for performance still trying to decide what i want to do i am probly gonna end op buying a kennebell next year i was contemplating doing a pi head swap but it will cost just as much,i think i would let brads tackle the swap im not sure if im up for that yet.
thank joe

actually I would believe the PI swap would be much cheaper then a KB. I haven't done much pricing on that stuff lately but isn't a KB gonna run close to 5K for the blower alone and I believe a full PI swap should cost around maybe 1K for just the parts? Should be plenty of slightly used 99+ PI parts around.

i have seen the k/b for $3500,if im gonna do the pi head swap i would buy the stage 2 heads plus comp 272s and probly the trickflow intake,i probly would pay brads
to do the job this is my first mod motor car,i am looking for 400hp at the flywheel.i
think i might be better off with the blower,i would install that my self but labor for the head swap is around $1300 its about 20hrs labor,so its kind of up in the air right now.my main concearn is i still want to be able to drive the car to the bay area to visit famliy which i a 1000mile drive.
thanks joe

I believe if you put PI heads on a non PI engine, you end up with 10:1 comp ratio,... not blower friendly...

If it were mine, I'd do the PI head/Cam/Intake deal then throw a 150 shot of N20 on it and have fun.
