I use marine grade protectant on my engine bay. Makes everything shine, but is not sticky or slimmy. Makes the rubber look new and metal look new. After a couple of applications, your engine bay looks new.

also, use some steel wool on the belt tensioner, throtle body, ac compresor, power steering pump etc... it will brighten them up and get rid of the dull look. Keep it up, looking good!

Send me a PM, I am in Lawrenceville, we can hook up some time. I have a White 87 Saleen

After:

As you can tell the intake plate is off because i'm about to tape everything and refinish it. the fan cover will come off whenever i have the time but i dont mind it right now.
i got some of the tire shine foam onto the paint and its very hard to buff off with a rag so the orbital is coming out soon to wax and buff the whole car this week

You can make a thank-me thread later

If you notice though, there's spots that look kinda funny, like you spilled a sugary drink and let it dry...those are spots you need to go back and touch up. Like i said before, this is what we did just to initially clean an engine bay...it works awesome to get the basic dust and crud off while also adding some shine to the little areas that you probably won't detail. When you combine this with some real detailed cleaning and detail work, you get show quality results.

The best part is like i said, just cover EVERYTHING...just blanket the whole bay down in foam (like i said though, be spart...don't spray things that can obviously get damaged by it and use common sense) and then you just leave it to do the work, and when the foam goes away you just do some follow up wiping and you're done.

Looking great!

Yep I am another happy Armor all tire foam addict..LOL

This was my S10 pickup when I first got it, then I used Gunk Heavy Duty Engine Degreaser, followed by Orange Blast by Grease Lightning, then after it dried I used the armor all foam.

I just have to say I really like the color of your GT. It might be because my 93 LX is the same color though.
