I dropped of the rotating assembly, heads, and block yesterday at Ford Performance Solutions in Anaheim. I'm having the rotating balanced (20 oz.) and having the block decked .016 and the heads milled .015.

This will bring the static compression to 9.8:1 which is right where I want to be. I've included the engine build below. I will have a dyno done sometime this Winter when everything gets installed. I'm shooting for the ~380HP range at the crank with a very flat torque curve and mid-range power. After a year year gathering parts, I'm finally starting to put things together.

Retail cost on the engine build is tipping the scales at $8,000
I bought almost everything through message boards, the Recycler, and ebbay and spent only $4,000

That looks alot like my Christmas list *crosses fingers* Ive been a good boy santa.

I was able to put together my 351 for a savings close to what you did. I hate spending more money than I have to. I just want to thank Summit for sending me Aluminum heads for the cast Iron price

Engine Might have to get a Dart block but don't want to and if I do, then 363 instead of 331. Thoughts on what I've already bought so far.......
