Well after thinking it over and over and over I have decided that I'm going to do this to my Cobra in the next full year. You guys let me know what you think about my idea...

Well first things first. I'm going to have to get forged internals. So instead of just forging my engine I am going to buy a 324ci DOHC Big Bore Stroker short block from VT. Then I'm going to probably up the boost as much as I can. Then when I get some more money I am going to lose the supercharger and get twin T4 turbos from HP. When its all said and done I plan to make somewhere around 800rwhp if I can. Only time will tell but those are some things I'm positive that will happen. I'm only $3,000 away from the Big Bore Stroker.

Better Plan
-Buy me a Stang since i don't have mine anymore. That way i'll be happy with my new stang and you'll feel good knowing you bought it for me. Tell ya what, you can even mod it anyway you want to for me. I won't touch a thing or spend any money on it. It can be your experimental car to have fun with. I'll just have it and drive it.

I see X2C is selling forged shortblocks from $2200.

Not a 324", but more money for turbos.

The only thing I'm wondering is with the 324ci short block will I have to port and polish the heads and get a race intake? I mean going from 281ci to 324ci on the same heads is almost impossible while keeping the hp free and not choked up at the top. Infact I would think the best thing to do would get 5.4L DOHC heads but geeez thats alot of money. I guess I'll have to call VT sometime...

Why would they have to be 5.4L DOHC heads? They're the same damn thing. 4V heads already flow really good, you only need port them if you're a maniac HP with LOTS of $$$$. Just let the boost take care of stuffing it into the engine.
