Based on the small sticker at the bottom of the driver's side of the windshield in the first pic of the new car, and the color of the stripe along the bottom edge of that sticker, he earned every damn bit of all of what he's got!!!

Nobody that has that decal is loaded I've tried for 21 years,, I have even done the bonus rounds when my "Company" sent me on out of town trips for extra pay....Still not loaded. But the wife and I, our two boys seem to do all right Lots of toys, but those are just a means to allow us to enjoy what time we do have together, not the whole game.

UM.......Have you looked at the Used take off parts places? great deals on near new GT take offs..... Mix and match with some aftermarket and your son could build a very nice ride. Have fun, my oldest is gone,, But the 13 year old is just coming into the car scene ... We have done bikes for years now,,, and modding them has been a blast...But his first car Will be an experience for both of us.

Please keep the pics flowing as you and your son build up his new car.

Well after you get through with the first 21 years you then slide on over into the DoD workforce and pick up where you let off. Takes some time & contacts to get in the door though...but once you're there it's not too bad.

We are still throwing ideas around as to what type of exterior cosmetic changes he may want to make. Right now I think wheels will be the first thing on the list. I think the stockers need to go!

In order of OEM Mustang wheels I dislike the most, it's the V6 wheels, then the Premium GT wheels.. I think the S197 NEEDS a Bullitt style wheel.. But I have seen some others that spark interest.

Deep dish Bullitts are what I have my eye on for now... But I have 12-18 months to think about it

I just sold my GT Premium's standard issued Bullits 2 weeks ago and replaced them with the 18" fanblades. I love that wheel!!!

Yep, know what you mean. Been slapping those DoD thingies on the windshields of my cars for the last 28 years now. Gonna hang it up next year myself I think.

Take out that stupid F***ing air freshener!

That should only be in there for two reasons to mask the harsh odor of a good doobie or to cover the smell of sweaty backseat sex.

Other than that i have to say that you are one cool dad! Your son is one lucky guy!

That air freshener is no longer there dude... It was a feeble attempt at a joke which my son evidently didn't understand.

In the first picture there's a Kia in the background which is moms car. In the 4th picture that riced Celica belongs to the next door neighbors kid. Damn fart pipe is annoying...

I take that your cobra is a one person Driver? Its one sweet ride you got there. The neighbors must be so glad that you got another mustang.

Yeah I'm the only driver of the snake. All 19K on it were racked up by just me. The neighbors around us could care less about me purchasing another Mustang. I've NEVER had the RPM's on my Cobra anywhere above 1500 or so while I'm coming in or out of the neighborhood. I know how to be curteous unlike the ricer boy next door who hauls ass everytime he gets in his car...

My son knows better too.

Good for a second i thought that fart pipr belonged to your son. I think i am going to hand down my stang to my brother in a few years. Did your son know it was coming or did you just show up with it.
