Finally got Build Date!!!! 07/25

I just heard from the dealer here in MD that I have a build date the week of July 25th. I ordered on March 9th and I am guessing that this will be one of the last 05's built. Mine will be GT Deluxe, Legend Lime, 5 spd, Spoiler del.

Now I just have to wait until delivery sometime in August....
Is anyone else have a build date this late????

Yup, car was serialized yesterday, build date to follow, ordered March 16, 05 Sonic Blue Deluxe, black cloth, 5 speed, spolier delete, IUP, getting it on the D-plan (high $22K range). (Strippies rule!!!)

Got a call from my dealer on Saturday (6/18) that we have a VIN number on the 05 GT that was ordered Feb 7th! I used the 800 number to confirm the dealers info and the automated system said the car was scheduled for build the week of July 25th. Looks like we are in the same boat. The plant shuts down for two weeks in July or we would have the car earlier. The wife & I are leaving for a cross country trip on Aug 13th and sure thought we would have had the car long ago. Odds are that it won't make it in time for the trip.

Feedback on this site indicates the car will be worth the wait. Sure hope so!

I must have gotten lucky. I ordered mine in late May and have a build date on June 20th. Should have the car delivered and ready to pick up in about two and a half to three weeks from now. Delivery is set for the 12th of July, but the dealer said they expect it a few days earlier (based on previous orders that have been rolling in).

Called today and was told build date of July 18th, finally getting somewhere.

I was under the impression that the last 05's would be built in July. However, if you ordered an 05 and actually were given a build date, I'd presume that's what you're getting because as I understand it 06's can't actually be ordered yet. I could be completely wrong though, so don't quote me on any of that.

I also received a letter from the agency I'm buying the car through saying that they didn't get the order completed in time to get in this years production. I would rather have an 06 as the 05 model year is gone.
