Well, after destroying my clutch, flywheel, and R&P and carrier a month ago, I got my car running again.
I upgraded the car to the following and am quite pleased:
3.73 Ford Racing Gears
Ford Racing Carrier
Spec Stage II Clutch
SPEC Flywheel
The car definitely hooks-up right away. With the new clutch and gears the car gets into the meat of the powerband substantially quicker than it did before. This was important because my car wasn't getting into the heart of the powerband for a while with the cent. blower. Now, it's there almost immediately.
I heard some mixed feelings about the SPEC clutchs, but I am relieved to say that I really like it. I don't have the chatter or some of the other problems a lot of people have mentioned and I still only have about 10 miles on the clutch. Maybe time will tell me something different, who knows.
