I finally got the tyhoon intake manifold in and installing right now i will take some pics when I get finished with it.

Im borrowing my buddies camera tomorrow and ill post some pics I broke mine. And the quality looks real good no joke. I dont see why everyone bashed this intake..it is just a affordable intake that anderson ford has designed. My plans are as follows allready got the p1sc with 17 lb pully forged manly pistons rods cobra crank of coarse the intake manifold. got the injectors mass air and dual pumps also since i allready had nitrous i might run it if the tuner thinks its safe.. ill know by this weekend im getting it tuned at in tune motorsports in charlston tn. oh yeah and all you critics out thier no since in judging something you have never seen because their is only 15 made at this time and im lucky enough to have one. ANYWAY ill post some pics when i get that camera with it on and off

i want to know how well its casted...any rough spots etc? can you get some detailed pics of the intake before you install it...inside runners etc...

Yes runner pics. I've heard the horror stories of their early 5.0 intakes. With way too much flashing in them.

That's why we want to see pix. We aren't judging it yet, that would be ignorant.

Did it go on easily and did you feel a noticible difference? I'm also curious if it affects the sound of the car. That's pretty cool that you got 1 out of the 15 also.

its also possible that those 15 that were released were gone over and paid special attention to so the owners could do exactly what you are doing...

I don't think anyone is hating on the typhoon and I hope it works well for you. The reason I'm reluctant is because there have been so many others that have attempted to make a good intake and nothing materialized. That and the test from one of the stang mags, I can't find the specific one right now, but I remember how they talked up the gains it made but if you looked at the dyno graph it lost hp in places, didn't make much under the curve and then had a big increase up high. Maybe near 6K or so. And it was tested on a built engine with unknown compression and the comparison included a larger TB/Plenum and other stuff that makes me wonder how it will perform on an engine that most of us have.
So get it on, take some pics, give us a review and if you have a chance, slap it on a dyno for us. Like i said I hope it works well, just a half full glass type of guy I guess.
