you'll make it soon enough, get it tuned and some traction, you'll see 10s easy.

Oink that's just crazy....

You definately shouldn't shift into O/D with that much power. I bet your band is already fried.

95cobra302.. yea im still in Daytona, track was OSW (orlando speedworld)

Pual, yea i know its one for sure killer of the aode, shifting into o/d. How can i tell that o/d is shot? Right now it seems to hold and shift into o/d just fine.. Although, if on the highway in 4th, and i nail it.. it slips into a false nutrual, until i let back off, and ease into it, then it holds.. Other then that it seems fine.
My logic is its GOING to go somtime, if not now, when.. What im looking to do is swap a newer aode in out of a 99+ V6

First signs will be easing into the throttle with some power, just enough to NOT let it shift into third. I found it easiest to recognize on the highway going up a big hill.

You'll notice your speed doesn't climb but your tach does. A little is normal of course since it's a hill, but eventually it will probably do like mine and it'll be like you are in neutral.

When I moved 2 hours away, and had to drive the car there, it SUCKED. Lots of hills here in the Ozarks, and I drove most of the drive in third and hit O/D on the downhills and level spots.

My tranny fluid was BLACK when we dropped it. Still red on the stick but smelled burnt.

I'm not 100% sure the black was from heat, it looked like the material on the band was mixed in with it. I was just about to cut through the rivets on the lining.
