I highly doubt these cars will become the same collectables worth $100k+ like the vintage, classic Machs, Boss's, etc have become. They may have some value in 30-40 years, but not like the originals.
Buying a performance oriented car like a Mach or Cobra and NOT modding it may be ok for someone like Kilgore or a real collector, but for your average Stangnetter, modding is the main reason we're here.
That is exactly why I put on the Bullitts, because its a cliche that cobras should have cobras. I am different and not going to sport the same thing that is expected because everyone else does.
What's the difference? It's not like Joe Schmoe walking down the street is gonna say "Hey look at that silly Cobra with GT wheels on it"
The only people gonna know are us mustang enthusiasts. Everyone else will just look at the little worms on the fender and know it's a Cobra anyway, no matter what wheels are on it
