finging a torque convertor??

Where did you get 2400 from? Everything that I've read (and have seen in my car) shows the stock stall to be arond 1800-1900.

x2 my stock stall was 1,800.

I went with a 3,000 stall set up for a H/C/I car. I put it behind my (intake only) engine and it stalled around 2,800.
