AFR 165 emission legal heads ( need to pass e-check)
TrickFlow Street Heat upper and lower intake
TrickFlow stage 1 cam, degreed
New timing chain
New Hydraulic roller lifters
1.6 Rockers
new pushrods hardened
new 24 lb injectors
new 255 fuel pump
fuel regulator adjustable
fuel pressure gauge
new aluminum radiator
PA performance 130 amp alternator
PA performance mini starter high torque
new equal length shorty headers
new O2 sensors
new performance harmonic balancer
New 76mm PMASS MAF calibrated for 24 lb
New MSD Distributor and coil
70mm throttle body

Car already had 3.73 gears, full subframe connectors (welded) new springs shocks and struts, new tie rods both inner and outer, 3000 stall converter, and shift kit. Heres a few pics of the engine before and after the swap

That sounds like a really nice package, especially the AFR heads. Not to nit-pick, but all of the money spent on your HCI upgrade, surely you have a bit left over for some new plug wires?!

How about some good ol' black or Ford Racing blue?

well just a update, i finally drove the car a little hard today and boy does it pull extremely hard from 1500 to 6000 rpm, it also has alot of torque it feels like, i am very impressed with the results acheived from the swap

did you notice a loss in low RPM power?
did you notch the pistons for that cam?

i want to do h/c/i but am worried about losings the low rpm torque that makes my near stock 5.0 so fun to drive on the street

you wont notice the loss of low end power if you match the parts correctly and it will def be more fun to drive

no loss of power at all, even more power and torque, no notching the pistons as i checked the clearance before i installed, the cam is not that radical but makes alot of power with the right heads and intake, i upgraded the injectors because i needed new ones anyway and did the fuel pump at the same time, but its alot more fun to drive now, alot of it is matching your components to acheive what you are looking for in terms of performance and drivability, my car is a street runner and maybe occasional track times
