Well I finished my suspension upgrade. I lowered the car with H&R Super Sport springs, replaced all the struts/shocks with Bilsteins and installed caster/camber plates from Maximum Motorsports. Then I slapped on the new Cobra R wheels I got and I think the car looks much better, no more 4x4 look. And of course it handles so much better now. I want to thank everyone for all the advice they gave me. This was my first mod and there will be many more to come!

Here are a few before and after pics of my car.

Before:

The parts arrive.

After:

The car after installation.

Rear wheel well gap.

The caster/camber plates weren't really very hard to install. Took maybe 30 minutes? Just follow the instructions. You will need an odd size drill bit, though. I believe its a 13/32, so it might be helpful to get that ahead of time. I think it cost me like $7 at lowe's.

Total time for installing the plates and swapping springs and shocks was about 7 hours. The rears are obviously much easier than the fronts. The main thing on the fronts being that you go slow enough to reassemble everything correctly and dont damage any of the brake components.

If you have any questions about the install feel free to PM, though I imagine it wont be too much of a problem.

I mostly just followed the directions for changing the springs written by Scott Manby here:

http://www.stangnet.com/tech/spring.html
(the link is in the 94-95 specific faq section, note that torque specs and socket sizes will be different because his guide was written from a '99)

Once you get the springs off changing the shocks is a simple matter. For the rears its just one bolt at the bottom and a nut at the top in the trunk. The front was only slightly more complicated because I had to figure out how many spacers to use with the MM C/C plates. Probably the most difficult part of the shock installation was getting the shock compressed and keeping it that way while you bolt it in to the control arm.

Nice pics! Nice paint, wheels, and stance.

I've got H&R Race Springs/Bilsteins/MM CC plates/bushings going on in a couple weeks. Can't wait to get it all done.
