After seeing all the guys on here that are firefighters I thought I would share a pic of our new medical truck that I designed and see what y'all think. We looked at major apparatus companies and they all wanted close to 100K for one and that was mostly basic stuff. I built this one for just under 52K and it is top of the line in every aspect. We were after something that could go up the tight road's we have down here and carry all of our necessary equipment.

So is it like a QRS? A lot of companies are going to ford trucks as squads. Looks sweet. Lifted with bigger tires and you'd be all set lol

It's being used in the Canton, NC area. If you are from the Lincolinton area I got the lights from Metrolina Fire Apparatus down in Lincolinton and they installed the bed slide-out.

We are using it as a quick response vehicle. We are a EMT-D level service but the county ambulance service does all the transporting so we did not need anything that was transport capable. This truck replaced a 88 GMC and man it is so much nicer than that old gmc.
