firewall adjuster

Honestly man, dont get that pile. I bought the triax shifter and liked it ok, but then got a pro50 and liked that alot better. So I figured steeda crap wasn't worth the hype it gets. Then I finally got sick of crawling under my car to adjust my clutch with the BBK unit I had. Bought a full steeda one.

The construction quality was awesome. Really good quality pieces. The firewall adjuster comes with two places to attach it to the firewall, unlike that one, as well as a set screw so it wont change adjustments on you. Cost me 100 bucks, but I think it was worth it.

What's the differece between the double hook and the quick release quadrant?

Astro Performance has a firewall adjuster and quadrant that is better than all of them. The adjuster is self-locking and doesn't use set screws or jam nuts.

1. Whether I tighten the lock nut or not, the firewall adjuster simply will not move. I've left it loose with no movement whatsoever. That Mustang Warehouse Firewall adjuster looks just fine to me...hell of a lot cheaper than the others, and jeez, it's just a friggin firewall adjuster...just a big hollow bolt!
2. The difference between the 2 pickup and quick release, steep ramp steeda quads is so minimal it's a crime that they sell these two things as two different pieces. I've got both, held them both, back to back, and I can honestly tell you the difference is minute. I swapped back and forth and there is no difference in release points.
To adjust the release point, well, it's a combo of things. I found the best way is to be able to adjust the cable completely - at the trannie, at the firewall - and then added the maximum motorsport clutch pedal adjuster-then fine tuned it all and now the pedal sits even with the brake and the release point is about in the middle of the shorten travel. It takes some time and patience to get it right, especially after adding an aftermarket clutch.

You will not loose any adjustment using the Micro-Click adjuster. Partshopper.com has them too.
