firing order question

I have a 1990 gt. what is the correct firing order and which plug is considered number 1. first plug passenger or first plug drivers side. also, how are the cylinders numbered per bank??

The cylinders on the pass side are numbered 1-2-3-4. The driver's side cylinders are 5-6-7-8. The firing order is 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8. #1 on the distributor cap is in the 1' o-clock position if you are looking at the distributor from the front of the car. the distributor rotor rotates counter clockwise.

He is right except for one thing. The #1 spark plug on the distributor is at 11 o'clock
