First dyno today. Disappointed

you didn't get an A/F reading.

i had a roller 306 and rpm heads, edelbrock intake, 650 dp carb and an AOD trans and dynod 313rwhp and 331 ftlbs at the wheels. i also only ran 12.5 @ 108.8 in my 67 when 10secgoal had lower dyno numbers and ran faster.

Thanks for the input guys, but I'm going to have to put off testing at the track for a few months. I suffered a heart attack this past Wednesday and had to be hospitalized and now have 3 stents in my heart. I'm only 45 years old and I am not overweight. so who would have thought it.

WTF??? Are you serious? Man, I hope everything's going to be OK. Take it easy and heal up, you're car will be there but you need to be healthy enough to enjoy it. Any idea from the doc what caused it? I'm only 44 and I know several guys who've had heart probs already. Get well soon.

Thanks. Yeah, it was a total shock for me and my family. I'm 45 years old, 5'8" and 180 lbs of muscle. I eat healthy and work out all the time. But when the docs did the angiogram to give me an angioplasty and insert the stents they could see my coronary arteries were full of plaque. They told me some people are genetically predisposed to produce more cholesterol in their bodies no matter how much you diet and exercise. He has since put me on cholesterol-lowring drugs and said another MI wasn't likely to happen again if I stay on them.

I've heard that before. I freind of mine's Dad was in pretty bad shape and had to have surgery and take blood thinners from here on out. The scary thing is he doesn't excercise, has put on about 80lbs in the past 5 years and all he worries about is saving money, like he's done his whole life. He wants to buy a quad so he can ride with his son and my Dad, but can't bring himself to spend the money. His entire life has been centered around saving, investing and making money, so he has plenty. I don't have much money, but I enjoy every day of my life and can't imagine living any other way. Anyway, take care of yourself and listen to any advice the docs have.

Sounds like you definetly don't need a faster car. Look what it did !! Sorry to hear about it. But there is always time later.
