First Mod

Hey all-

I just bought a 1989 5.0 LX Vert. Its basically stock (flowmaster exhaust). After I do some maintenance/conditioning what should my first mod be... I'm not looking to go all crazy with it (not yet anyway) but I would eventually like to have a nice DD that could have some fun every now and then.

For a vert the first mod should be full length sub frame connectors. The vert chassis has about as much stiffness as a wet noodle the SFCs will make a world of difference. I also put a strut tower brace on my 93 vert when I did the SFCs.

After that it all depends on what you are looking for. Gears are the best bang for the buck performance mod.
