First night at the track for 2011

So tonight I made it out to the local 1/4 mile track for the first time for 2011. Had a great night. Made 4 passes and all 4 were better than my best time last year (12.95@105). All the mods to the car are in my sig block + weight reduction (no back seat, spare tire, jack, and no front sway bar) + slicks.

Best 60' was a 1.650
Best MPH was 106.74

That's moving along quite nicely.

I also went to the track tonight, best was a 12.72, seems that you and I would be very tight.

Thanks for the comments everyone.

The car definitely surprised me also. I was expecting to be fighting for a 12.8, but I ran 2 12.7 passes, so I loved it.

Well, that's definitely leaving how it should. If I could get your 60' out of mine, I think I'd kiss a high 11.

That's AWESOME. I use the same wheels for my drag radials, haha.

Thanks! This was the first time ever running slicks. Bought these used from a guy on svtp.com.

I'm waiting on the track's photographer to upload his pics because from the high-res version of that one, it looks like I may have pulled the tire up.
