Knock knock. It's the only bushings I didn't replace. The dam ones that go in the 8.8 .
Up early this Christmas eve day as no parts store carries them in stock and I drove to cjpony parts 40 mins. away.
The old ones fell out but new prothanes was not so easy, home made install tool and there in.Just

in time for Santa.

Before you went to all the work, did you check to see if you left someone in the trunk who was making the noise?

So what is the geared piece in your washer stack?
And what did you use for synthetic grease on the new bushings? I used dielectric on a sway bar, but there has to be better chassis grease for poly, or at least less expensive than for a little tube suitable to do ignition stuff.

Just in case you are not joking, General, poly bushings get creaky and squeaky with no lube or with regular grease. PST puts graphite in their polyurethane formula to help, but the right grease is still important.
On my Ranger, Ford warrantied the sway bar to body bushings twice before I told them to clean them up and use a silicone based grease. They were not noisy again while I owned it.

Not joking, it is old school so ?????
I used it on my poly-something or other bushing on my lcas way back when I installed them, prolly 40k?? on them and no squeeky, driven in all weather conditions. Well cept snow, don't do snow.

seems to be of the same consistency and characteristics of the grease Prothane provides in those little tubes. I wonder how similar they are.

The new bushings came with gorilla snot, and that was a t5 fifth gear syncro for home made tool.
I have used dielectric grease in the past with good results.
I'm glad Cjpony parts opened up here,saved the day for me.

I grew up in New York,ordered from summit and didn't pay sales tax,but now I live in Nevada and have to.
Before Cj pony parts opened here same thing, but it is nice to be able to drive and get parts I need.
I don't know what its real name is,but I always called it gorrila snot, it's sticky as all hell
