Yeah...I've been slacking lol. I was happy with the way the car ran, but unhappy with the track. I waited at the front of the tech line for 20 minutes while everybody just pulling in behind me was checked right through. I didn't mind at first...but started to get a bit impatient. Then, after I paid and went through tech, it was announced that it was going to be 1/8th mile only....blah. In my opinion, if we're only going to run half track, we should pay half price! Oh well, it's only $15 I suppose. Anyway, here's my time slips and video. Passes were made on 255/60-15 Firestone radials that have extremely impressive grip for a street tire....1.92 60' time

1st
60': 1.998
330': 5.496
1/8: 8.327
MPH: 86.57

2nd
60': 1.920
330': 5.401
1/8: 8.235
MPH: 86.83

Comparing old times slips on street radials, looks like the car was on pace to run 12.70's. I ran a stop watch on my in-car clip and the car went 13.8-13.9 in the 1/4 letting off in the 1/8th. That's what it usually ran when it was stock and on slicks! Just makes me realize far this thing has come in the last 10 years. I'm hoping for some 12.30's when the stickey Mickey's get bolted on.

Nice! Yea, I don't know how people enjoy running 1/8th. I love the thrill of building speed the 2nd half of the track!

Good gosh! It's so short, whats the point? Nice times btw, very impressive 60'! Which is funny. The best 60 foot I ever had was with my old 89 LX. Which was a 2.0 flat and that was on Firestones too.

God I hate 1/8th mile tracks. That's all we've got around here too. Good for bracket racing, dialing in your 60ft and perfecting your 1-2 & 2-3 power shift, but little else. I've got to drive 4-hours to see a full 1/4-mile.

When was the last time you head someone ask, "What's your car run in the 8th?"

Exactly lol. Anymore of that crap and I'll take another 5 year hiatus from there. Too bad Norwalk is a couple hour drive for me....that place is NICE.
