So a little while after I put on my mac flowpath catback I noticed there was a pretty bad exhaust leak where one of the chrome pipes attatched to the muffler. Tightened that up and the leak was gone... but now there is a horrible drone from 1500-2000 rpms! I thought this mac system was supposed to be low on the drone, but this is pretty bad considering that I have dynomat covering the entire hatch area. Anyway... how could fixing this leak make such a loud drone and is there anything I can do to minimize it besides loosening up the exhaust? :p

No, install DynoMax Super Turbo Mufflers. MAC and 2 Chamber Flowmasters all have horrendous drone at all RPM's. I have nothing at any speed, and nothing at any RPM. I love it, and I tell everybody I have stock exhaust, even with no converters.
